I actually would prefer to see Marty redshirt given the current state of affairs. While it would be nice to see half a season of Marty, Dewitt and Mamadou in the frontcount, I would much rather see two full years of Marty, Mamadou and Greg Nero. Plus Jon and Herbie will have a year of experience under their belts and MVS and Danny will be providing the senior leadership. I think a starting lineup of these guys (Jon and MVS as starting guards) along with Geoff, Jeremy, Nathan, Danny and Herbie off the bench could be the making of a very competitive MAAC team.

Does anybody know what Marty's major is? Would he interested in an MBA? I am pretty sure Big Al is working on his MBA at the Dolan School of Business. I am not local, but, I believe the reputation of and respect for a Fairfield MBA has grown significantly in the past of years. Would be a nice way to get an MBA credential under your belt for free.
