Bell has shown little in his years at Fairfield. He does play aggressive defense but his shooting percentage is horrible and he cannot create his own shot.
In my view Todd did not force the action at the end. He is our 'go to' player and I thought he had a good game. Oglesby was exhausted in the final 10 minutes so Todd was the only real option.

Agree that MVS needs to shoot more, but did he look more aggressive in other parts of his game like dribbling and taking it to the hoop?????

On the radio, our defense was described as intense, but Providence still shot 63.8%. Was the problem is that we just could not stop Hanke, and the other big guy Hill?????

Sounded like Oglesby forced a few inside, but how was otherwise driving to the hoop and his ball handling?????

Was Oglesby's open on his 3 pointers, and did he get open by good movement or was it team passing or did Han create those opportunities????

How did Han handle the defensive pressure of 5-10 Curry??????

Great to see Oglesby have a great game, and MVS have the type of game he is capable of. I think that the St Joe's game was the anomoly, as I think this team has shown good passing, and team defense in the scrimmages and St Francis. Sounds like after Todd and Ogelsby had their great scoring stretches, it would have been great if they could have driven and passed out. While we did not win, I think that this game might have given the team some confidence that even with the current personnel they can win games. Han has had 3 good games, and agree he is a player.

THEY HAD LAYUPS ALL NIGHT -TOO BIG FOR US TO STOP

HE WAS BEST AT LONG RANGE SHOOTING

Was Oglesby's open on his 3 pointers, and did he get open by good movement or was it team passing or did Han create those opportunities???? COMBINATION OF GETTING OPEN AND HAN GETTING HIM THE BALL

How did Han handle the defensive pressure of 5-10 Curry?????? VERY WELL. FEW, IF ANY, TURNOVERS

most are right on about the game last night. With the new configuration, it felt alot more intense than if we were to have the arena in the old configuration. On;y 3700 for PC is a bit disappointing but a whole lot better than the St Joes game. I fear that we may have lost a good portion of the students after the SJU game but, hopefully, I'll be proved wrong.

stags played very well all night, we were just undersized and PC hit a couple of BIG shots down the stretch. ogelsby was hitting shots and the offense as a whole was a bit more fluid than in the past. han, again, played wonderful. we have ourselves a great future in that kid.

not going to moan about ref'ing. Yeah there were some calls that were questionable (esp that continuation play) but, there are questionable calls in every game. hats off to PC, they won a heck of a game against a very inspired team.

agree that todd forced it a bit too much which is probably why TOT yanked him at the end of the game. As a senior, I think he should have looked for the open man first and then shot second but, what's done is done and we wouldn't have been in the game without him on the floor.

onward to iowa....
