Dear Fairfield University Students:

On behalf of the men's basketball team, we would like to thank you for coming out last Monday night and supporting the team. Your presence, made obvious by your sheer enthusiasm, brings Fairfield basketball to a whole new level. We need our fans behind us as we continue the tough
road that is the rest of our season. Please continue this support and come out tonight, as your men's team takes on Providence College, at 7:30 at the Arena at Harbor Yard. We need you, the students, Our 6th Man, to bring the same energy and enthusiasm with you to every game.
Once again we thank you and look forward to a very successful season.

After the 30 point beating university students had to sit through last week, I am not sure if the student section will be that packed tonight. However, I hope that I am wrong and that the men's team is able to bounce back after that trouncing. After all, the fans deserve it.

Nice touch by the players. I am sure that the team knows that they disappointed themselves and the fans and asking for our unconditional support is a nice touch.
