Nice effort by the Stags last night. Gotta give TOT credit for having them ready to play and giving it everything they had. Bodes well for the MAAC season that they might be reasonably competitive.

As for the next few weeks, I still fear that it is going to be ugly. They were already short-handed up front, and with MOS and Hawkins out, that leaves Middleton and Reedal as having to contribute something. Do you give them both a baptism of fire, or do you roll the dice with a lineup with no one bigger than 6'5"?

It's nice to focus on our good shooting, but we can't forget that we are allowing our opponents to shoot 54%. You aren't going to win many games against anybody if that continues.

I personally think that TOT has to give Middleton and Reedal some PT and let them take their lumps during the OOC schedule. Odds are the team isn't going to win more than 1-2 OOC games anyway. Let the kids get some experience.

Couldn't agree more about playing the younger players.

PC's rebounding edge and constant layups overcame our good shooting and defensive tenacity.
