The whole left side of my walk in closet is computers and parts, stacked by two's! I barely have room for my shoes! Is that like the 21st century's version of junk cars? Think about it.

My mother loathed television. My dad would buy us a new television so he could watch Gunsmoke, he'd hang out for a couple of months, then disappear for parts unknown. Three months later, he'd show up, the television would be gone. (mom always said they were "broken") Then he'd buy a new television, hang out for a few months, then he'd disappear, the television would disappear...

My television watching was sporadic at best. My mother swore up and down that television would warp my brain, stunt my imagination and make me into a complete illiterate. Read a book, listen to the radio! We always had music, I read and I practiced piano six hours a day (no television does unspeakable things to a child) Anyway, I'll get hooked on a show, then I'll forget what night its on, and we never buy TV Guides, it never occurs to either one of us.

Oh well... No cable, and we're still having fun, go figure.
