Tony, this was just an insider joke for those who know about UBF's obsession with training shepherds who do not comply with their imagined "ideal proportions" of a UBF shepherd (see here) and who know about UBF "singspiration" at conferences. It was not intended to mock anybody.

Also I think "overweight" is not a "politically incorrect" term. Samuel Lee used to call people "fat," even in his sermons. That I agree is mocking people. These sermons are still considered to be the most spiritual edifying lecture and recommended in UBF.
