Subject: Posting formatted articles

Here is a trick for posting nicer articles without having to type in HTML. Right click this link and chose "Bookmark this link", e.g. place it into your Bookmarks toolbar folder.

Now you can use type simple abbreviations for all kinds of formatting when you type in your article to be posted. The possibilities are explained here. When you are finished, select the things you want to convert and click the bookmarked "Textilet" and what you typed is magically converted to HTML.

For instance, you can use *bold* and _italics_ to get bold and italics.

Single- and double-quotes around words or phrases are converted to “curly quotations,” much easier on the eye.

You can apply HTML styles like this %{color:green}make this green% which becomes make this green.
