hmm. it went up to1.33 last week, making things costly to buy from Europe.
How is it felt on the ground and grassroot level in Europe.I heard someone say yesterday, it might hurt some companies who rely on export of goods.
For companies in the middle east, dealing in European products, it is difficult to promote their products here against competitors from USA and china.
Will it go up further or go down from here is anybodys guess !I personally am glad, because I had a 50 Euro note lying in my purse , which I bought from an exchange in October for spending in Europe, but was not needed( because everything is so costly in Europe , compared to the same thing in GULF, even a coke) .I didnt change it back to our currency yet, so it gives me more,when I convert it , lets say this week.LoL.
