The currently most successful song in Germany is a song from a little child that had been published on a CD with songs for children, about three years ago. In the last year, the song had spread as MP3 over the Internet (violating any copyright) and became increasingly popular in Germany. Now people even dance in discotheques to this song, CDs with new compilations of the song are best sellers, it has been played on MTV and viva, had been at "Top of the Pops", has thousands of fans and even its own web site. And the original song writers probably now make a lot of money with it, many times more than with the original CD for children, a commerical success thanks to er, people who violated the copyright. Paradox, but true. Piracy sometimes multiplies commerical success. Anyway, the song is really cute. Click on the small picture on the right side.
