Ex President Clinton was a naughty boy but I liked his style. Ok he had an affaire in the Oral Office, and maybe he had one or two more, but where is the evidence that he regarded women solely as toys. Are we to judje him just on that.
You are in an art gallery. You see a painting that is so beautiful it reduces you to tears, it is the most wonderful thing you have seen. Then you discover the painter was a serial killer. Are you then going to say you think it is a dreadfull painting. I think we often have to separate the person from his work.
Could Tchaikovsky have writen such beautiful melancholic music if he was not haunted by his homosexuality. I think not.
