I totally love fantasy books.

I recommend books by Terry Brooks, who wrote The Sword of Shannara and its series. Especially, read The Kingdom of Lanover series. The first book is "Magic Kingdom for Sale...Sold!" It is awesome!

The series revolving around Ender (Ender's Game) is excellent as well. Anything from Robert Heinlein (Red Planet) is great reading too.

I liked the series about the different personifications of Death, Time, etc, by Piers Anthony, starting with "On a Pale Horse". Very cool reading. Actually, most of Piers Anthony's fantasy novels are excellent. I also recommend the Darksword Trilogy, and the Dragon Lance novels.

I have a book that I bogarded from my High School, called 100 Short Short science fiction stories. It is great! The best one was titled, "Sign at the End of the Universe". The only line in the story was "This End Up", and, of course, it was upside-down.

I can't think of anymore I have encountered, except my favorite Dr. Seuss book, "On Beyond Zebra".

Later!

Tom
