Okay. It's obvious that there are those of us who have different opinions on the war in Iraq. For our European friends, I think its more important to get back to the point of why the majority of Americans posting on this forum would vote for Bush rather than Kerry.

The bottom line is that Bush is pro-life and pro-family; he supports heterosexual marraige, is against abortion, and stem cell research. I don't know what the state of morality is in Germany, but if we can prevent the legalization of same sex marraige in our country, then it is important to us to have a President who reflects those ideals. Kerry is on the opposite end of these issues, a clear leftist liberal who wants to further moral decay in our nation.

I don't know if these kinds of issues are topics you consider in Germany with your political candidates, but they are big topics here in America. If they aren't, then maybe that's one of the differences in our country's interpretations of politics. For me, the choice is clear that Bush is better to have in office to keep us from dwindling into further moral decay.
