Can you take your family with you?

I think it is very important to offer your kids family vacations. I still remember the vacations with my parents and siblings, sometimes with befriended families. It is a precious memory. This time we left our son with the grandparents, since we urgently needed some quiescence, but next time we will take him with us. There were a lot of attractions for children at that place, not only the sea which is of course the biggest one.

One thing that was interesting was a former quai which is now a viewing platform where you could watch all the ships that were coming from the North Sea and entering the river Elbe which leads to Hamburg, our biggest harbour in Germany. That platform is called "Old Love" and is very famous here. It is a very romantic place, and a place that lets you dream of the ocean and of far away lands.
