That's true, I do rather appreciate the fact that people will buy the CDs too. Album sales do have an affect on artists, as many people do not believe. First off, album sales generate air play, which is more help as mp3s are. I know everyone who lives in a modernized society probably has the chance to listen to a radio atleast once per day. Not everyone listens to mp3s. Also, they pay the record company back the money that the band owes them for thecost of recording, publishing, promoting and all the other costs. The fact of the matter is, usually on a bands first CD they won't see any money. Even if it sells 3 million copies. They probably owe the record company anywhere from 200 thousand to nearly a million dollars for expenses. The money comes from tours, yes, that much is true, but Let me stress this. Which concerts are more advertised, the Chart topping bands, with the latest #1 hit, or the guy who was most downloaded on napster? Well, It is the #1 hit band. Of course. So, you see, it does make quite a difference if you pay or not.

As for war, there are two more songs that do not appear on mp3.com. One has appeared in a very very bad live version, and the other has only been played live. Except for a few people who heard the version where I sing on it. =) Yes, I still have the tape ... somwhere, not sure where, and no you can't listen! It's that bad!
