She stops crying and reilises how tired she is and walks over to a pach of long grass and lies down and sleeps. She dreams of herself and Spirit running happily with a little foal beside them but her dream changes arouptly and she is dreaming a nightmare. In that dream Spirit had wandered off and had gotten killed and she was surrounded in darkness. She saw something. A blaze of light. It came toward her moving as fast as the wind and it hit and killed her. She awoke with a start looked around and tried to sleep once more.
