Sorry, haven't checked this board in a loooooong time.

Anyway, books. 1Q84 is phenomenal, as is anything else by Haruki Murakami. I'm working my way through all of his titles, in no particular order, and I'm in a constant state of amazement.

Recently read the Spin trilogy by Robert Charles Wilson (Spin, Axis, Vortex). Spin is very literary for scifi; the other two are less so, but still excellent.

Other than these, most things I've read lately have been underwhelming. Go for the Murakami.
