Hey everyone! Doug here with Magic Moments Video!!! Just wanted to tell everyone hello and let you all know that the dvd's from your state pageant look great! All I can say is wow!! Pam and RJ did a great job with the dvd's. Crowning is awesome!! Just got finished watching it on the computer. I will uploading a link to parts of the dvd's online in a couple of hours. This way, you can all see how good they look! I had planned on trying to come over and finish filming the pageant last night, but we were trying to finish up here at the Tennessee State Pageant. Maybe I can come over next year and film for your state pageant. My schedule is always full and it is imperative that I am the one who films the Tennessee pageant, it requires a lot more technical administrative skills in filming it, and since I am the "boss" it is required that I be the one who is responsible for the job... LOL! I still love you all!!! With my current situation in my life, it will enable me to do quite a bit more travelling during my slow times of the year, who knows, I just might come over to the North Carolina area for some weekend funtime with you guys at some of your preliminaries and parties.. that way, I can film some of your events throughout the year..As everyone in the Cinderella Program knows... (Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana) my business is not about making money.. Money is nice... but not the "all important".. I love my job because I love people and I want to give back some part of my life to you all. I have been very fortunate to have had 2 of the best parents that anyone could have ever asked for!!! They instilled great values in me. I love the Cinderella Program and whether it be here in Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana or North Carolina.. I love you all the same!
I will be at a couple of your preliminaries or maybe even your Christmas party or some kind of event you have coming up! We will all have some fun! Anyway, check back on the message forum in a bit and I will have you a clip or two from the pageant this weekend!
I will close by saying one word or two abot my mother. As I mentioned before.. I lost my mother due to cancer in late 2008... To my mother, the best thing in life were children.. she loved kids more than anything in this world. The videos that I do will be dedicated to her this year! So, if you see the photo of the yellow butterfly at the end of your dvd, you will know what it means. The yellow butterfly in the photo was a butterfly that my mother had been watching for a couple days late last summer. I was in our yeard. She was ill at the time and was undergoing her chemotherapy and radiation. She sat and watched the butterfly every day. I was finally lucky enough to capture a great photo of it. Tht pretty, yellow butterfly really opened my eyes and allowed me to see just how valuable each and every moment is. The butterfly signifies the undying love my mother had for the nicer, prettier things in life.
