stepped on a rusty nail, it hurt.

Why does every one
i thought was my friend feel
the need to laugh at me
for the choices i make?
I'm not like everybody
else, it's the truth.
But it's the way I
choose to live my life
and i really can not
stand when people have to
laugh when i choose to
be different.
if we were all the same it
would be horrible.
you laugh cuz i'm different,
i laugh cuz ur all the
same. I'm not goin to
be the perfect person you
think i should be. i'm not
like you, where i have to be like
everyone else to feel at home
in my own body. i'm goin to do
what i like. and it hurts
when people i thought were my friends
talk shit about me behind my back
and laugh in my face. Thank god for
my true friends, who can accept me
not being a carbon copy of the
"perfect person"
