To my Jenn

Life has always looked away
I could of been on my hands
and knees cleaning that day
and still be left alone and forgotten
with no sort of reward or pay.
but while life's back was turned
she jumped in and grabbed me
said i am what u have earned

with no worries or regrets
knowing this girl was no dead end
i took her by the hand and ran
thinking to get as far away as i can
when i realized i need not run
all this time wasted looking around
and finally noticing she was the one
i took a sigh of relief as i realized
my struggles of looking were finally done
