Judgemental

Judgment called
too soon perhaps
as the gavel
slammed down
and "guilty" was heard
throughout
And it's my fault
for misjudging you
on a whim that
you were not yourself.
Stupid me,
yes, the first to admit
my own fault.
"but, I was wrong"
I say outloud,
to myself,
and to you,
as I stand in silence
with cold stares
from her direction
freezing my heart.
Me, perfectly iced over
with what I am not,
judemental,
I didn't mean it,
ya know?
to reach a verdict
based on assumtions.
I didn't , but i just did,
I'm so sorry,
be being cold enough
to let my fingertips
go numb.
