Why do the friends we think we can trust
Always wind up to be the ones to stab us in the back?
Why do the people that we love the most
Always wind up ripping out our heart and stomping on it?
Why do the people that say they'll always be there
Wind up to be the ones to turn their back and walk away first?
Why does the person who tries hardest to be kind to every1
Winds up with the tears rolling down their face?
Why does the person who believes in true friends
Always winds up lacking them?
