By the time the Beatles began recording their third album they had not only conquered America, but the entire world. "A Hard Days Night" lp is pure adrenoline. Even the slow songs, "And I Love Her" and "If I Fell" have an exhuberant life. Side one is the soundtrack for their first full length movie, it is also the lads first entirely self penned album.
Although Ringo does not have a solo on this album, he does do a superb rendition of Carl Perkins "Matchbox" as its accompaning single. It is appearant that the Beatles have grown quite comfortable in the studio. Moreover, George Martin had finally figured out this crazy new invention called stereo.
Both sides of the album reflect the whirlwind the Beatles were in the middle of. By the end of this 30 minutes you will be panting and begging for more.
