Intex is holding a casting call exclusively for California Tropic Royalty AND California Tropic kids who are registered for the Tri-State Finals in April.Intex is looking for kids, moms and dads between the ages of 1-35 years old. Intex uses California Tropic kids exclusively for their catalogs, merchandise packaging and swimming pools. We are very excited for our California Tropic kids to have this wonderful opportunity! Many of our kids who are currently in commercials, catalogs and ads started here! If you have not registered for Tri-State, it's not too late. You can call the CT office to register now. This year we are going to celebrate you, our Royalty Family by hosting a New Years Party in your honor! The party will be Held the weekend of January 1-3. We are busy planning. There will be food, fun and games! We will also hold a photo shoot that weekend. Please plan to attend as we are very excited and working hard to make sure that everyone has a GREAT time! Just a reminder that the Holiday Parades generally take place starting the weekend after Thanksgiving. If you are a Royalty member or a local preliminary pageant winner, you can participate. Just a reminder that the Cool Cuts 4 Kids Photo Shoot will be on Thursday December 3, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. We will meet at the Cool Cuts location in Huntington Beach. Out of curiosity are the winners of these state finals allowed to crown at Tri-State or Internationals or compete at them? How will their Royalty status work?
PLEASE NOTE: These STATE PAGEANTS are in ADDITION TO the Tri-State and International Finals!
Tri-State will most likely be end of March or beginning of April.
International will be Labor Day Weekend.

We are in the final stages of planning our holiday party. This year we are planning a New Years Party to be held on January 02,2010 at the CT Corporate office. There will be food and fun for all. We are also planning a photo shoot and contest to be held that weekend as well. We will have more details soon!
Rogue has done two pageants with California Tropic and hope you do one here in the Antelope Valley ( Palmdale/Lancaster) Area soon!!! I hope everyone is doing good and hope all of you have a great halloween!!!

Our deadline for the Henderson Christmas Parade in coming up so I need to have the script ready to turn in. I want to make sure that everyone that is participating gets announced. If you think there is a possibility of you coming please let me know, I would rather have them announce a child that is not there then have them not announce a child that is. Hi!!! I am looking for the red one!! Harli is curently 3 months and wearing a 3-6 month in most brands. I haven't ever purchased from Hollywood Babe and my mom never did for me either... so I'm unaware of how their sizing works/runs. The pageant is in December. She will be 5 months old! So.. I'm thinking a 6-9 month should work pretty good... [I think?!] Help! :) I dont know!!

Well my two dresses won't work for you then i'm sorry. But, when you get on the website under the ordering info they have a phone number for you to call and they also have a sizing chart. So i would just speak with one of the ladies at hollywood babe. Also if the pageant is in december then i would call asap because it takes about three weeks to make the dress! Wish my dresses would have worked for you! Good Luck!

HI! We are first time pageant go-ers with California Tropic and are a bit confused. Does anybody know what "special occasion" means on the 21st of November Pageant? Are they supposed to wear a certain thing? Like is there a theme!? HELP! =)

"Special occasion" is a type of attire your child would wear for a special occasion, such as a holiday party or wedding. Basically; dress up attire. Also, if you look on the website, under 'general information', there is more information regarding attire and guidelines.

I was at the grocery store and I picked up a copy of the Amerikidz magazine with Caeden Pulido"s(sp. sorry) picture on the front! I opened it up and little Brooklyn Mears' picture is on the contents page! Way to go Tropic kids! It is nice to see their faces out there!
Hey everyone, I thought I would let everyone know that Cynthia with Candid Visions and Rashell doing H&M are headed to Tucson Arizona the 1st weekend in Feb. You can get them before TRI-STATE!!!This is a super great opportunity to get those winning photos!!! They had 29 winning photos at CTI including both front covers. But you can use these for anything including agency shots. And the weather will be beautiful. So we already only have a few slots left. ATTENTION!!! Tomorrow morning @ 9:00 on ABC channel 10 you can see a couple of our beautiful California Tropic girls on the "Sacramento and Company" morning show. We are so excited for them! Well, the shoot was just beyond fun! We are so thankful for this opportunity and will treasure these memories forever! A HUGE thank you to Danielle Walsh and Tiffany Davis for recommending Avary for this shoot!!! Avary had a blast! The staff couldn't believe she was only two because she handles herself like a big girl! All of her CT pageants have really taught her to be patient, listen to instruction, not be intimidated by lights and cameras, etc! Again, many thanks for everyone in the CT family that hooked her up with this AWESOME job!!! And don't forget if you are in the Sacramento area to drop by Cool Cuts 4 Kids in Natomas...they are AWESOME!!!!

Really don't know how to thank you for the pageant system you provide. California Tropics may be the new name but with the experience you all bring to the name, I speak on behalf of my family when I say, the name may have changed, the location might be new, but the love is still there and the dedication is felt throughout the moments we experience when we are all together. I am so thankful to this system and your company for the friendships my family has made and the people that run this wonderful system.We love each and every one of you and want to congradulate you, your company, and the new name "California Tropics" on an unbelievable pageant experience and job well done! CTI was unforgetable! You dont know what you are doing for my kids. The shells they were in couldn't be pryed open for anything and now Austin can get up on that stage in front of hundreds of people and smile and he makes friends now. And Sami, we never would have thought would ever get on stage much less shake it and smile... and all because she got a balloon on her first prelim. She was hooked. Kascee is too little to understand much but his smile up there says it all. So California Tropic FAMILY, EMPLOYEES, FRIENDS, NEWCOMERS, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! The new name is a big difference after all your years, but you didn't give up, and look- YOUR NEW SEED HAS BLOSSOMED INTO THIS GORGEOUS FLOWER! CONGRATS, AND THANKS MANY MANY THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!
