All we need is just a little patience


Begrudgingly typing away on his laptop at an article for the paper, his gaze drifted every once in a while to drift out over the view before returning to the screen infront of him. It was raining on and off, but he was still sitting outside - beneath the overhang to stay dry, of course - hoping that maybe the fresh air would inspire him as he worked away at exactly what he didn't want to be doing. It was tough - he loved to write and he didn't even really mind the news work, but when what he really wanted was to be working on a novel, nothing else cut it. A low sigh slipping from his lips, his hands froze finally and he re-read the last couple lines he had typed before gently pushing the computer shut - it needed to be edited and finalized, but he wasn't in the mood for that right then. He carefully slipped the machine back into its back and then leaned back in the chair, fingers linking behind his head and knees bending slightly to draw his feet up, head resting back and eyes out on the grey skies. Despite the miserable evening, he wore just tattered denims and a thin white tee, toes bare - typical casual attire for the quiet man...
