] Date Posted: 03:43:08 11/30/10 Tue FOR THE ELBERTON PARADE HERE IS THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. PLEASE WEAR HOLIDAY ATTIRE, CROWNS AND SASHES.... IF YOU HAVE A CAR, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW, Parade Rules 1)There is only ONE Santa, which is provided by Kiwanis. No others allowed. 2)Candy or other prizes ARE NOT permitted to be thrown from vehicles or floats during the parade. Items maybe distributed by anyone walking, but not THROWN by order of the Elberton Police Dept. 3)No profanity is allowed in the parade, either verbal or musical. If profanity is heard you will be asked to leave. 4)Participants wishing to ride horses MUST provide their own clean-up by order of Elberton Police 5)Participants arrive at 6:30 pm to prepare for parade. Parade Route – Begins at Golden Pantry and continues on Elbert St./ and around the square, ending on Heard St. Thursday, December 2, 7:00 pm (please include lights on your entry whether it is Christmas lights, flashlights, etc. to make it a beautiful, safe light parade) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
