Subject: Pacific Queen Company Charter 7/9 & 7/10

Short report,

Fished our annual company 2 Day charter on Pacific Queen last weekend.

Synopsis:

The fish were biting.
Wind and swell were up but it was definately fishable.
We scratched a few in the A.M. and then moved South from the 1 day area to be ready for the afternoon bite that had been happening the previous day.
Starting at around 2:00 in the afternoon the bite went wide open!
15 anglers on this trip captured 2 day limits by 3:30 on the first day of fishing and Capt. Bill told us we were done for the day.
We headed for the barn at 7:30 AM the next morning.

Here's a couple photos from the trip...

We had a newbie on board this trip and here's his first Albacore

The kill box kept filling up

It was a little rolly out there

Charter Master (The Moose)

Young decky Cameron (Tuna Guy) about to stick one :)

Da boyz..

Yours truly..

BloodyDecks "poster boy" doing his thing. All kidding aside... Cameron is the newest addition to the PQ team and he is wise beyond his years. He has my vote for decky of the year and the rest of the crew had nothing but possitive things to say about this young man. Nice to meet you and fish with you Cameron. You did a great job and I predict you will go far!

The landing had a new service of vacuum bagging available so with so much fish I decided to give it a try. I am stoked with the job they did and it was very inexpensive. I got 26 bags for 55 bucks! :D

Special thanks to Capt. Bill Cavanaugh and his great crew. It was a great trip and I had a blast!!
