Subject: Dear America- When will this cruel war be over?

I really enjoyed this book and i thought that it had some strong points to it and some weak points. One thing i liked about it was that they had a lot of drama for example when Emma had just met Tally and then pretty much the day after he left to war and it made me want to keep reading and see what happened to tally. Another suspensful part is when the mother gets very sick and i wanted to know if she would recover or if she would get so ill and then pass away, sadly she passed away. But that brings me to the not so good parts which are when the mother dies, the baby dies, alot of colonels die that are mebers to there colse family friends and some kids of close family friends die, which is not so good for me because i dont take sad things very well. One more thing that i didnt like was the ending becausei was looking forward to hearing weather tally and Emma got married or if Emma's aunt would stay with her but they didnt tell that, they kind of just left me hanging. I enjoyed lots of this book and didnt like a little of this book but if i had to rate this i would rate it a 3 and a half. I suggest reading this book if you like suspense and sad deaths.
