x.x.x.x No one is certain how Life began, but they do know that it began somewhere. In the beginning, where we embark on this journey, there must always be an end. The end of Life is the beginning of this chapter. This is the tale of the beginning and the beginning's end.
x.x.x.x It all began with Jinx. Jinx was the daughter of an unknown maidservant and the King; one of those results of an affair to remember. Her mother had been killed for the sin, and her father remained, mourning over his lost lover. His Queen took over her care as a young filly. Jinx and the Queen's only son, a colt named Perdition, became best friends, and they spent their entire youth together until the King's death and Perdition was crowned his heir. He was the only offspring other than Jinx of the King.
x.x.x.x When Perdition was searching for his future Queen, he asked Jinx to help him find a suitable mate. However, their feelings for each other grew, and the two had a secret affair, biding their time behind this mask of finding a suitable Queen until they could figure out what to do. Finally, the news broke. The Queen Mother stepped forward to say that her son was not the King's son, and that Jinx was the true ruler. Perdition was banished from the lands, as was his mother, and Jinx was named Queen of Luminous in the Lands of Life.
x.x.x.x However, Perdition and his followers raised a rebellion, which was secretly helped by Jinx. They lost and were left to the shadows, where they thrived for many years, biding their own time until one day, Jinx announced their punishment. They were hereby exiled. Their love for one another continued and grew only stronger. That is where we end up for now. What will the next chapter be? Will you be part of it?
