Welcome to Sunset Creek Ranch, balm for the soul of many teenagers. A housing for "halfway" kids, mostly juvenile delinquints on the brink of placement in detention, teenagers on their way from detention having difficulty integrating into society again, high risk students -- the drug addicts, the suicidal, the irresponsible and uncontrollable of our day's youth. Sunset Creek caters primarily to youths aged 15-18, and has a plethora of different backgrounds and issues present in their bunkhouses. Settled far in the foothills of 'horse country', the ranch also houses many different species of livestock -- horses, cattle -- both beef and dairy, chickens for eggs and meat, pigs, and a large garden, maintaining itself primarily through production and sale of it's products. Self sufficient almost to entirety, the aim of Sunset Creek is that every youth has an opportunity to turn their lives around - be it employability skills, a GED, or psychiatric help, the ranch is aimed to do it all.
