There life is supremely easy for men. No snow is there, nor ever heavy winter storm, nor rain, and Ocean is ever sending gusts of the clear-blowing west wind to bring coolness to men. -Homer, Iliad The Elysian Fields or Elysian Plain (called Elysium by the Romans) was a place where fallen heros would go after death, a place where the 'blessed' dead would reside. It was peaceful realm, a pararside; utopia. But is the Island all it seems to be? A peaceful place of olive groves and meandering rivers or is something more going on between the herds that inhabit the Isle of Elysium? But what ever is going on... From wars, famine, the elements and each other-- the mortal equine that roam this island "paradise" always seem to have some trouble and if they don't Gods and Goddesses, who have their own ideas about the Elysian Island will make sure they do, if a pretty nymph doesn't walk by and distract them! (well... the gods at least...) From the life of a mortal horse in great Kingdoms and smaller Territories, to the longevity of beautiful and mysterious equine nymphys in their woodland and sea dwellings, to the immortal Gods and Goddesses upon their mountain and even to the realms of the Dead: Tartarus, the Asphodel Fields and the Elysian Fields... Are you ready for this Isle? And if you "are," then which path do you take? The path that will lead to the ultimate paradise-- in life-- or death, or to another place... Who ever you are or where ever you journey, it won't be easy, and everyone will try and make sure of that atleast... Isle of Elysium is a completely orginal Equine RPG, designed around Greek mythology.
