Her plush muzzle offered consoling nudges to her distraught friend as she searched for the appropriate words to say.

The paint returned his affectionate nuzzle with several of her own but a sympathetic glance was given Row's way. "That poor filly," she remarked softly, her head tucked under Wind Storm's chin.
