] Date Posted: 12:17:41 12/13/04 Mon Howdy guys and gals! I am home now. I had a wonderful trip. Didn't get to see a whole lot cause it was the weekend, but I did manage to see a few things. DEI was actually open Saturday and so was the museum part of Roush. I went to both of those and took lots of pictures. Then I poked around a few other shops just to see what I could see even though they were closed (Yates, Penske, Gibbs, Wood Brothers, and others). I also went over to Chip Ganassi racing. Even though the building was closed, for some reason the gates to the back were open. Me being the curious person that I am, went back there. I figured the worst they could do was tell me to leave. LOL! When I got back there, this guy was loading up Jamie McMurray's show car onto the rig. He let me take some pictures. He was really nice. He told me that he was taking the car out to LA because Jamie is going to be on an episode of the show "The West Wing"! He had to take the car out there to film the show. He gave me some pictures of Jamie too, so I was a happy girl! =0) I think I'm gonna be going up to High Point, NC next month too. So maybe while I'm there I can check out a couple more shops. The two main ones I want to see are Evernham and Yates but both are closed on the weekends. I'll post the pictures that I took to a photobucket account or something and then I'll post the links when I get them downloaded off my camera. TTFN! Kristen K. Date Posted: 13:17:47 12/13/04 Mon I'm glad you had a great trip! I've been waiting to hear how it went. I can't wait to see your pictures. I watch the West Wing, so I can't wait to see McMurray on it. Did you get to see the awards show? Jamie McMurray and Dale Jr had the funniest speeches. I've been taping Nascar Fast Forward on the Speed Channel. They've been rerunning the races from the 2004 season. The only downside is that they condense the entire race into one hour, but at least I'm being able to see the ones I missed. My cable company finally came out with the DVR cable box. I'm a happy camper now. I can tape up to 60 hours of programming and watch it when I have time. I missed taping the Daytona 500 though.
