Subject: About alot Author: Devilkin [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:49:49 04/05/05 Tue Allright, before i start i want to warn you all before reading any further :> First: This will be a LONG letter with alot of misspelling and other very anoying stuff for both the mind and the soul ;) Second: This letter is only stuff that i want to share/get of my chest.. So what is it with Draconis Linkshell thats so .. so appealing? ive asked myself that question a couple of times both now and when im not playing and when i did. I remember when i ran around in the outskirts of Bastok trying to figure out how to actually engage that funny looking turtle guy with a sword when this figure apeared behind me.. he said "Devilkin draw your sword and gaze into the mist and you will know" so i did and i striked down the turtle with all my might and won 1G Scroll:Paralyze and 100exp.. that was my first time i tasted the wounderfull world of final fantasy xi. Later on i stumble across the same mystic figure in Valkurm Dunes, this mighty Elvaan who leaned his sword to so many and swore protection were no one else then Pharnum. I remember it like it was yesterday and it allways put a smile on my face. In Draconis Linkshell i did get a very solid and friendly family, hell i could even say they are better then ppl in my real life. So i just read the logg from the meating you guys had that went out of controll due to the fact that some ppl do have other linkshells and want to spend time in those. I can both see what Pharnum and Mornlith are trying to acomplish by saying that making Draconis the PRIMARY linkshell,and i can also understand Trent and Kas. The question is, were do you want to go? I know people who were friends half their ffxi life then suddenly things all change because of one little word.. greed.. yes greed.. its such a evil thing its almost scarry.. and ive seen it over and over. Dont get me wrong, im not saying anyone is bad in this subject. Just that its a hard situation. Both sides need to understand that its not a piece of cake to hold a guild togheter nor is it easy to neglect friends from others. Its just a matter of choosing. The last month i played i had around 9 linkshells were i kept 5 on me in my inventory slots all the time.. and Draconis were one of my first. if i got to rewind my history i would throw em all away to be in Draconis. Ive helped people slay minions for their AF's, ive helped ppl farm for their new shiny swords, ive crossed the farplanes and i even crossed the seven seas but in return i wanted nothing. I believe nothing is a better return then matter of items (lol this guy is starting to babble alot eh?) :> try and keep up with me and ill try and keep it short ;) I guess when it all comes down.. at the time im writing this i could trade away all my equipment.. i would throw all my gold into the seas.. i would kill the emperor.. if i could get a hold on a Draconis Linkshell again and serve it with all my power. Just to be by you guys side when traveling in vanadiel for the quest of retribution and glory, just to aid you guys in the battlefield and send the mobs back to hell.. that in my opinion.. Is Final Fantasy XI. If you read this far i just wanted to say thank you for taking your time and reading my little toughts, i hope ill get back soon and meet you guys. untill then.. look sharp, stand tall and never fall!
