Subject: The Madam

Intro:
Well, I was just wool-gathering when I had this sudden inspiration..nah.
These two works speak of a Lady warrior who fell in love with a Regal lord and a warrior but circumstances did not allow them to stay longer. I wouldn't know what had happened because I must have missed that spot.
Anyway, she is on a mission from Might O'oa (a fictional character) to a land where she was being kidnapped. During that period, she grew to be a hardy woman - stubborn, strong-willed and distant. Without her knowing, the Mighty O'oa has enlisted the help of the lord whom she fell in love with, to accompany her to the land. She does not know that the lord was the one who kidnapped her.
So, in the second piece of work, the Mighty O'oa gives advice to the lord to be wary of her because during her transition period, she had gained a reputation as a ruthless woman.

NB: Adarhee is also a fictional character.

My Fair Madam
She comes to me
On a cloud of raging passion.
She does not know
Of the torment she puts me through
Or of the desire
That's ready to spew forth.

It was but seasons ago
That I held her in my arms
Now she has but left me
Left me with those agonising memories
I was just a youth
A youth in blind passion
That was led astray by her drive.

Now that I have seen her
I fear I will break
That would be a dent in my pride
I am a warrior and pride is my stance
I will not fall again
And make a fool out of myself.
Yet I see her looking this way
Feel the heat of her eyes over me
When she thinks I do not know.

Circumstances beckon over
I have to fight for my people
And if to accompany my Madam will be disastrous
I cannot wait to see
What our journey will bring forth.

The Mighty O'oa has called
'You will go with her', he says
'To the land where she has fears still
Where you have humiliated her.

She does not know
That you were the instigator
For I fear her wrath.
Guide yourself against her treacherous heart
A heart all cold and hard
By the hand that molded it
Your hand'.

I say, 'Why fear?
For she has turned me into a stone
I know of her treacherous heart
She is an asp, all potent and sly
Her lying tongue is as sweet as rotten honey
Her eyes so swifty and pagan
She is Adarhee, the Asp.'

The Mighty O'oa speaks:
'Do not say such things
For she has ears that run tens of miles
And eyes that see beyond the invisible
A mind that roams at free will
With a speed of a lightening strike
Her wrath is such of a savage beast
Her anger ancient and multiplied
Wary you must be
For she is my child'.

'Do not fear, Mighty O'oa
A child of yours is a friend to me.
I will go with her.
But do not come a-running when you hear the thunder rolls
For it is my battle
And I am a man.'

'I do not fear for you, my friend
For I know that you have a majestic heart
A heart of a lion
Your will is strong
And you speak the truth
I know my child will be safe
As long as you are by her side
Though you may deny it
I know that you love her still
And that will be my only hope
To return my child to me'.
