Went there with a nice group of folks on the 3rd of march, 2001. The staff seemed as if they were trying to rush us out of there but I think that might not have been the case at all. That place seems to be living in the half-world. They are trying to combine the style of a chinese restaurant with the dynamics of a hyperactive-waitstaff charm diner. They are trying to teach immigrants to do the helen-hunt-in-as-good-as-it-gets routine or the bridget-fonda-in-it-could-happen-to-you deal. They probably think they are succeeding. Or maybe they were thinking the same thing that I was wondering. I was wondering if our outbursts of laughter were crossing a line in terms of noise level. Felt a little bit uncomfortable on that. But you're an entertaining bunch of folks so I just had to laugh at certain points.
