Oh come on, come on, come on. Nothing shocking about that. I stopped making "Russian album disease" jokes long since, apparently when a celebrated Belgian singer released a collection of Russian Romances (ironically, including a version of So Long The Path and Two Guitars, is the choice really that poor?!). And The Tiger Lillies recorded the album with Leningrad (by the way, what's wrong with them? Aren't they a healthy alternative to Kirfuckingkorov and the likes? Let alone the good old statement "tastes differ"?) 1.5 years ago actually, so sorry dear, the joke has worn out thin:-) By the way, I saw them live together at the time, if anything.

Having said that, lots have changed since then. Now TTL aren't just a cult band for a small bunch of adoring connaisseurs (and needless to say they are worshipped here in Russia by just a small bunch) - they've become quite big all over the world and they don't care any longer for our godforsaken country, as I told them recently!

So, even though I'm going to buy it anyway (I had anticipated the pleasure of asking the salesmen in the record stores, 'do you have Huinya?' - to Englishspeakers: it's a dirty swear word like 'bollocks' - but when I tried once, I failed! I could not say that, damn! I never knew I'm such a good girl, shit!) - this album is not relevant for the time being and TTL seem to be not interested in it.
