This is what I put on Ben's forum last night:
I've just returned home from London after seeing Marc sing with Antony & The Johnsons at the Queen Elizabeth Hall! I couldn't believe my ears as Antony announced his guests name. He said that every artist has one other artist that is the reason they became an artist themselves and he said that for him it was Marc. The audience erupted and out from the wings came this frail thin figue in black. He looked very nervous and said as much. He joined Antony in a duet of an A&TJ original, River Of Sorrow. Marc apologised for his voice before he began but he shouldn't have as it was spectacular. It was so very moving and beautiful. I'm not ashamed to say that it had me in tears.
I was so pleased that the audience who were there to see Antony showed a huge amount of love towards Marc.
I will never forget this moment.
