To finalize here is an update to timelines and specific duties for each. I suggest reading it all so u know whos doing what. FOR DESIGNERS: Still out there but almost complete is: Page 6/7 (due wednesday nov 17) 6pm (L220 bucket) Please attach as usual a cover page to the colour spread. Additionally attach a b/w version of page 8/9....and follow proper work flow....coordinator coordinates and publisher approves before submission Page 10/11 (our time) due this coming sunday november 21 midinte...PREMARK SESSION FOR PAGE 10/11 will be this thursday nov 18 (you may want to shoot for this date so your publisher can visit me during chronicle production) I will also be availble for pdf msn online premarking on saturday cover/contents page - due Friday November 26. I ASK THAT YOU DO several premark sessions with me during this development. (b/w prints - no on-screen) With that designers your Bill Mag experience is over. I thank you for a wonderful term and some dynamite looking books. FOR COORDINATORS: I’m hoping that alterations to spreads and ads has been on ongoing event. In the case that it hasnt, it now falls to you to do any adjustments discussed or outlined on assignment coversheets or marking/comment sheets. Adjustments need to be done prior to the development of the book and board for presentation purposes. Only adjusted error free material will be judged or presented. Book and Board due wednesday December 1 6pm That gives you the monday/tuesday to adjust any of the later returned material such as the cover and contents coming in that prior weekend and returned as soon as possible to you. INCLASS Nov22/23 will be the instuction given to coordinators to prepare the book/board as well the board will be distributed that day only COORDINATORS/PUBLISHERS: On the bill server you will notice 3 folders....BEST BILL COVER....BEST ANIMATION AD...BEST CHRONICLE HIGHLIGHT AD you are to prepare and deposit a clean, error free/corrected/adjusted PDF file for each. PLEASE LABEL EACH WITH YOUR PUBLISHING UNIT NAME. Please double check by opening the file in acrobat that your creation of the PDF file worked proper. These files will be used to prepare the judging material. Deadline for clean ups and placement into appropriate folders is Tuesday November 30 6pm PUBLISHER: Pitch day- you are to prepare a 7 minute pitch to deliver to full class as well as guests. The objective of the pitch is not to disucss the new life long bet friends you made during bill mag development ; nor the new life long enemies either. Its not to re-hash the OUR TIME STORY. Its not a design presentation where u talk balance strategy or visual paths...you are to explain your decision to select the editorial emotion developed and how it reflects and relates to the advertising program. Props or materials...what u will have is the book/board at your disposal....your full team will be up front with you to assist...but all pitch delivery will be by publisher You may develop a powerpoint presentation or any additional support material needed.
