I have a freind still running the 8.5 in his Buick GN. His makes around 1100 and runs mid 8's. He has a 33 spline spool, c-clip elims, T/A diff. cover and still runs a 3.42 street gear. Best 60 foot is in the mid 1.20 range. I have no idea how it lasts but it hasn't broke yet.
