Subject: Why no sheet metal?

I don't see why we can't have a sheet metal intake. If you are going to allow two carbs, what's the difference? You can't tell me that the Big chief Dart TR or the Trick Flow TR for the BBF is that big of a disadvantage. Hell, my boss's top sportsman made 10hp MORE with a cast intake, and ran 6.70's with a 632. The turbo guys get to fabricate 30' of intake tubing, so why can't I build an intake? Just so we're clear, it's because there is NO TR available for my combo, and I already paid to have it done. It's for a BB Mopar, and it's only for one carb anyway. That alone should let me use it.
