It was great to see so many of you at the last meeting. We had 24 in attendance at the USC Orange County Center, which proved to be the perfect facility for us.

Tony Chan presented an introduction to ISO 14971 and gave us a preview of the next four meetings. Please see the schedule posted on the Network Page of the OCRA Website at www.ocra-dg.org.

We also reviewed the results of the Risk Management Survey that we took on the first night - interesting results which we will probably review again at a later meeting when we are all speaking the same "risk management language".

Assignments for the next few meetings are also posted on the Network Page. In addition to the individual assignments we have a few volunteers for group presentation as follows: September 25: Julie taylor and Helene Spencer - Risk management Policy; October 23: Jack Duhuwalia - Risk management Plan; November 20: Chris Posin - Risk Management File.

These are all elements of ISO 14971 which we will begin to dissect in the next 3 meetings. Please attend. The meetings will all be held on Wednesdays, starting at 5:30 pm, at the USC Orange County Center in Irvine. Everyone is welcome to attend and bring your risk management experience and ideas to share.
