Im4cam is horrible I agree, but it did serve the purpose at the time. We are no longer running the software on our server and are working on a shoutcast video stream now. The thing is bandwidth costs alot of $$ and our site is totally free and always will be. For instance a 384k live feed to 24 users costs us $250+ a month so you can understand the math. Webcam feed refreshes every 5 seconds and no we do not run it always, but you can bet it will be on every Saturday night!
