Calling All Racers.....Your Help Is Needed

Volunteers Needed

The "Red Kettle" campaign is now under way. The Salvation Army is in need of bell ringers for the upcoming Christmas season

The Salvation Army gives out toys and food baskets to the less fortunate in the North Country. I have seen what they give, and they donate nice toys to the children, who would otherwise not have a christmas. They also give the family enough food to have a nice Christmas dinner.

Kevin and I have been bell ringers in the past and we thought it would be a fantastic idea to include all of our fellow racer/crew members in this good cause. We could do this as a group, each person or team donating a small amount of time to ring the bell. We could take a block of time and split it up between all of the racers who sign up.

We could ask to have a spot in the mall and really have fun with this as well as collect some much needed money for the Christmas program. It's a great way to get together as a group and show how much we care!

If I can get enough volunteers for this great cause I will set up a time and post it here with all the names of the volunteers.
