Front and center stood a man bound all alone

I felt I was in a court for the state
And what was said, I must have been late

As a man read out loud sounding vindictive
The bond man looked like he was already convicted

They weren�t serious crimes just some wallets being lifted
The amazing thing was the numbers his fingers sifted

The pick-pocket answered to all the cases
Bragged to be the only one to take shoe laces

The picker said, "I didn�t steal nothing,
Half the time I was puttin' in something!"

Couldn�t hear it all but did get most
And to see what happened you had be up close
