Subject: Eviction of Evil

At last after a hazardous journey I�m at the approach to the castle
Back along the road that I traveled lay the scattered omens of battle
Ahead rose the chattel of the malevolent necromancer Araknuum
The enactor of black doom, reanimating cadavers from sacked tombs
I�d made it past his crack troops and now stood at the foot of his fortress
Wherein dwelt his enormous order of immortal ensorcelled forces
The portcullis rose open though nothing or no one patrolled within
I strolled through grim under iron as old as sin, it slammed closed, I cringed
The pit of fear sometimes my soul descends has slippery sides but I made it out
The barrier essayed a loud scrapping sound. Heard, without a shade of doubt
If brainless louts threaten I possess heavy protection, implements of destruction
A half dozen guns of specialized high caliber hollow point bullet construction
Then with no pretense or discussion the first of the zombies was fast upon me
A mass of rotting meat and maggots with grasping fingers, gnashing long teeth
I grabbed my strong heat n blasted the bastard back hacking out fragments of flesh
Till my gat went empty, I�m gasping for breath but sent the thing back to its death
Saw a black nailed hand from the left, spun on my heels and drew another gun
Plugged the son of a bitch till bloody pus hung from his tongue, turned, prepared to run
But the first who�d come was only stunned and continued shuffling towards me
Fortunately the corpses knee was torn and supported him poorly
His fall resembled a torched tree as it topples under the weight of its branches
I was taking no chances and went around the shambles passing it paranoid glances
Into a spare n void passage awareness enhanced and senses alertly searching
Entered the first ring of chambers and saw perched on a table an unearthly bird thing
Through the murky blurring I heard it issue a sickly rasping hawk at my presence
In walked a troop of godless denizens eyes glowing red with feral phosphorescence
I cocked my weapon and wet them sending meaty lumps of debris flying freely
Then the creature�s steely beak was screaming, a noise that set my mind reeling
Blindly, feebly I fired a shot; the eerie song expired with a dry whistled squawk
Behind slid a block of granite balking passage, escape was cut off to my shock
Lost in my thoughts I wandered, encountering posthumous zombies no longer
I light along a curved hallway grew ahead getting steadily stronger, I calmed nerves
At last the chambers of nocturne, within sat a monstrously squat Rhinosorous size pot
In which bubbled n popped a concoction of decay, death, fungus and rot
My muscles went taut as the odorous smoke smote my nose n throat
And over the potion clothed in ebon robes stood Araknuum alone and composed
From the glowing coals rose a nefarious amorphous demon from hell
His evil was felt in the depth of my heart which retreated, emitting not scream or a yell
Gleeful it fell upon my body, the way teeth and claws ripped me apart made me sick
The screen switched to the options menu, Resident Evil, restart, save, or quit�
