I also think it helps to go into this knowing what to expect. These days we are very used to having things done quickly. And we want to be kept informed often. We're not used to having to wait months or even a year or more for something. I don't know all the ends and outs of publishing your own book but I imagine it's complicated.

I go into this knowing that I will get a book out of the deal. I've got the first book to prove it. They are not ripping people off. You will get the book. Then I sit back and forget it. I think of it as an investment. I leave it alone and every once in a while I remember it and check to see how it's doing, then go back to forgetting it again. It works really well that way. *g*

This is not the ideal situation and hopefully if they do this again they will keep learning from their experiences and it will get faster and easier to do. The ideal would be for a publisher to publish the books, but...oh well. This is such an unusual situation I'm cutting them some slack. And I have a boat load of books I need to read anyway.

If it's still not here by 2007 though all bets are off. LOL
