Subject: Has anyone eles noticed something weird?

I am a big Dara fan, but I have noticed that her last book "The Familiar Touch" was difinetly not as good as the previous ones. I am not trying to put her down but I feel really disappointed. I just read the excerpt for her new book and could not believe some of the material. Her metaphors were tacky and dumb, I was confused what time period the book was even set in. Why was she talking about Einstein and Samaraui warriors if the book is set in the future? Her other books were so good. What happened to Dara Joy?
