Dena Higley:

-Tina & Joey NOT returning.

-Wants to bring a "new, fun bad guy" to OLTL. He will be related to one of the show's core characters.

CASTING
-Contract role of Tyler, an athletic gent in his 20s/30s who is the kind of man that women dream of - but in turn gives their mothers nightmares.

-On January 5, Jack Boscoe takes over the role of Jack Manning.

VCR ALERTS:

Bo, Nora find it hard to get past their fight - Dec 21

Nat struggles with Cris's honesty - Dec 22

John starts walking away from Vangie - Dec 27

Guess who that leaves him free to comfort - Dec 28

Jen & Riley make love - Dec 30

Someone pops the question - Dec 31

Todd tries to make a daring escape - Dec 23

Todd's condition takes a turn for the worse - Dec 29

Kelly comes up with a way to locate Todd - Dec 30

HIGLEY previews first couple months of 2005; it's not a whole year preview.

MURDER & MYSTERY

-Audience will find out who killed Tico before the people of Llanview do;

-Paul's murderer's identity will be a big reveal.

- Both mysteries come to a head in FEB.

NAT & CRIS GET CLOSER

-They fight very hard for their love

-Cris is not the same; Nat finds herself in the position of being the strong one who has to save him. She's not comfy with the role, but wants to rise to the occasion.

EVANGELINE TRIES TOO HARD

-Becomes impatient with John's savior attitude toward Nat.

-She attempts to help Cris/Nat strengthen their relationship in hopes that it will strngthen her own with John, but Vangie just may shoot herself in the foot.

-The more she helps, the worse it makes things, and she'll find herself in place she didn't envision herself being.

KELLY LETS ACE GO

-Confronts Babe & makes decsion to emotionally release Ace to his biological mom

-Battle comes down to Buchs vs Cramers when Kevin gets involved.

DORAIN & VIKI DO BATTLE...AGAIN!

-At first the rivalry looks petty, but it builds and builds

A NO-GO FOR NORA & BO

-Their new level of honesty catapults Nora closer to Daniel.

-Bo's displeasure with that may lead him to do something drastic. Not only will Bo have to forgive Nora, he will do something for which Nora will have to learn to forgive him.

MARCIE & MICHAEL LEARN TO LOVE

-Real life issues cause friction for them, life throws them curveballs

-The rift that comes between them is genuine, they struggle & have to find their way back to each other

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

-Rex, Riley, Jen become a triangle

-Lindsay gets a leading man, one that will make the audience very happy

-Duke & Adriana bond over their families crises

-There will be a surprising new romance involving another Buch

TODD/BLAIR/MARGARET

-While Margaret is out, Todd finds tools to help him break out of his makeshift prison

-Back in Llanview, Blair is seeing red. she runs into Kevin and rips into him by blaming him & his constant accusations for Todd's disappearing act.

-Blair then runs into Margaret! but she keeps her cool and goes home.

-Blair tries her best to make Xmas merry for her kids, but it will take more than a holiday miracle to bring this family back together.

-She tries to uncover the secrets behind Todd's disappearance & will be shocked to learn that someone very close to her may know more than they're letting on.

-Day before Xmas, Todd's desire to be with his family intensifies, esp. after Marg gloats that she saw Blair with Kevin

-She puts together a holiday celebration, but Todd would rather hang with the Grinch than spend Xmas with this crank, so he makes his escape

-Major roadblock puts the brakes on his plan to get back to Blair

Article: Evangeline Starts a War!
Antonio faces some hefty charges and turns to Evangeline to defend him.
That leaves Vangie in a tight spot. John is the lead detectve on the case.

REG says: Vangie doesn't think Antonio is guilty, she might piss John off, but she's not afraid. She's not going to compromise who she is for anything.

confesses that her character's participation might be a cry for attention and some well-deserved romance. "I think she honestly believes that if he's obsessing about this case, maybe he'll obsess about her a bit."
