Already the Magna Carnal, that exalted document that set the foundation of Clan Anagram, is a year old. Within that time, the Clan has withstood numerous changes in its membership, experienced a successful and peaceful transition of power, and undergone a change in its very fabric. The purpose of this, then, is to lay down some principles in the proper interpretation of the Magna Carnal, as it is a living document; which is to say that as times change, so must the Magna Carnal to remain relevant. Furthermore, this provides guidelines for future members of the Central Executive Committee as to the intents of the writer of the Magna Carnal.

To begin, a proper blessing of the Clan is in order. This is to secure the prosperity of Clan Anagram, and propagate its belief system enshrined in the Magna Carnal. The Kingdom, though under the divine guidance of Jick and Mr. Skullhead, the Heroes of the Times of Old, and even the legendary Phonics, nevertheless is still subject to the ravages of the "real world." Witness the two-hours-that-were-forty-eight, and one may plainly see that preternatural forces can influence the kingdom.

Let the Clan stay firm in its adherence to the Policy of Loathing and to its own Magna Carnal. Let the individual members benefit under the Aegis of Clan Anagram. May the Central Executive Committee be always rightly guided in their collective decisions, and may the Clan Assembly strive for the individual rights and liberties befitting them. May Clan Anagram be a bright sparkling jewel, a Clan amongst clans, the res nova of all future clans.
