|X| Short legs brought the small teen to the wide open land. Space like this always attracted her. She found it quiet, serene; A place where she could just stop and think.
The sun beat down on her head, making her hair appear more firey than it already was. She had her hands in her pockets, looking down at the ground thinking, when she heard hoofbeets and whinnies. She looked up, her heart beating with anticipation. It couldn't be, could it?
As she drew closer to the herd, she could smell it...Yes... The smell she oddly treasured - The aroma in her grandfathers bard; The smell of horses.
A smile lit on her face as she saw the herd from a distance. She hadn't smiled like that in a long time. It seemed just seeing an actual horse brought back a peice of what her life was once to her; She had always wanted to see a live, wild horse herd, which added to it. Jemma sat down on the ground and just watched, overwhelmed. |X|
